Tond Trethán

As a practice, we are passionate about sustainable urban development. Tond Trethán is maremoto's response to the ongoing housing crisis in Ireland.

We consider it is our social responsibility as architects & urbanists to criticise the financialization of housing, which continues to hinder the development of liveable, affordable & equitable built environments.

We endeavour to use our understanding of housing policy in Ireland to highlight these issues, and actively work with communities to support & empower them.

Our contributions to the housing discussion in Ireland have included appearances in national print & broadcast media.
